Today we read a book titled "Mother's Tongue." It was a quite interesting book. The book talk about how a lady spoke differently around her family and peers. She was an intelligent asain lady, who was very fluent in english. Her mother was also intelligent, but her english was not very good.

 Today was a slow day. We were learning about commas. Learning how to use commas felt very boring. A lot of the rules I already knew, which made it even worse. Other than that, reading everyone else's blog was entertaining.

Today was a fast day in class. We started learning how to create a blog. After that, we started reading a story that I actually enjoyed. It was about a Latina female who was experiencing stereotypes. She was explaining how men would try to sexually harass her, and how once an elderly lady thought she was a waitress.
